IMSU INDUCTS 2019 GRADUANDS OF MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE- THREE GRADUANDS BAGS FIRST CLASS

Earlier today, the Department of Medical Laboratory Science Imo State University (IMSU), inducted her 2019 graduands into the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria.
The induction which took place at the university auditorium was graced by people from different walks of life including academics and parents who came to share in the joy with their ward.
The 17th induction ceremony tagged “induction of Thanksgiving” was conducted under the chairmanship of the new acting Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Peter Achunike Akah.
Declaring the ceremony open, the vice chancellor congratulated the inductees and also urged them to uphold the moral principles and ethics of the profession.
He further stated that the oath will mark the beginning of their career and enjoined them to shun social vices like cyber crimes and other criminal related offences.
The highpoint of the event was the presentation of the inductees and taking of the traditional hippocratic oath, which was adminstered by the outgoing head of the Department, prof. Dennis Nwosu.
The Female trio MLS. Ibe Prisca, MLS. Diala Ifesinachi Tecla and MLS Luck Ruthy Uzoaku bags first class.
MLS. Ibe Prisca and MLS Ifesinachi Tecla emerged the best graduating students with a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 4.61 each while MLS.Lucky Ruthy Uzoaku made a 4.5 CGPA.
