Firstly, I appreciate everyone who deemed it fit to call my line and confirm the validity and authenticity of the false memorandum which was edited by an unknown individual in a aim of tensing the students.

 The imo state University has urged parents to disregard the fake news being circulated on social media on the reopening of the university on 7th September.

The university is asking parents, students and the general public to disregard the release in its entirety.There is no iota of truth about the release, as the memo which was released yesterday was not from the University management or from the student Union government.

IMSU have been closed down nationwide as part of measures to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.
