Prophet cures several mad persons, shuts down Aba street

Residents of Aba, the commercial nerve centre of Abia State were thrilled with unbelievable miracle on Sunday, March 17, 2019 as a prophet stormed a popular spot for mad people and began to cure them instantly.

The miraculous recovery of some raving mad persons, who have been roaming the streets of Aba for several years, brought a mammoth crowd to Ngwa Road by East Street where the healing took place.

The prophet, who identified himself as Prophet Chibuike Azubuike Favour, is the founder of Divine Authority Solution Ground Ministry at Abofia, Abakiliki Ebonyi State and a devoted member of Presbyterian Church; are hails from Oziza in Afikpo North LGA of Ebonyi State.

He explained that he has been in the ministry of curing and healing mad people for some years now since God opened the door of grace to him.

Though he said the crowd made things a bit difficult, the 34-year-old told our reporter who chased after him while on his way home: “No one should give me glory for what happened for it is God that heals and not him.

“Of a truth, I don’t know how this work started. I was like an abandoned son by my father’s wife. I was spiritually placed inside a bottle for 27 years and I was gallivanting and committing all kinds of crimes not knowing what was wrong with me. Everybody rejected me in Afikpo, my hometown, because of what was happening in my life.

“Until God Almighty decided to remember me. I was so bad that I got a prison sentence. When I gained my freedom, I drank acid to kill myself, but God said no that I must not die. I met a man of God, Prophet Emeka from Aboh Mbaise in Imo State that revealed my secret to me and I began to go to Bible School.

“There are many churches and prophets all over Nigeria, but solution is not all over Nigeria. He said to me, go to your village and dig out your destiny. By the grace of God, I did that and I became free. And since then, God has been using me to do marvelous works. Let no man give glory to me for God did it.”

Speaking on the ministry of healing mad people, he said “Many mad people have been healed through me by God. It is not compulsory that God will heal every sick person through me. I’m just a messenger. My work will soon be over and another person will come and begin from where I stopped. It’s God that heals and not me.

“I remember when I was rejected, no one came for me. The only persons close to me were rejected persons and any time I come across mad people and God instructs me to go and pray, I’ll quickly do it. I came all the way from Ebonyi State under divine mandate to do this work.

“I have promised my God that no matter the amount of money I have and cars I drive, I’ll use my legs to enter any dirty place even if it’s a gutter to cure any sick person whenever God instructs me to do so. I don’t send myself to a place, don’t get me wrong. I’m just a servant who obeys my master and I don’t say where I’ll go.

“I feel their pains. They’re my brothers and sisters. Beautiful ladies and men roaming the streets naked and mad without help. It’s painful. God has remembered some of them today and will still remember more by Sunday next week. I’ll always go to them.

“Let me tell you, many pastors who tried to copy what happened here today have had their ears bitten off by mad people. It is by the power of God that I’m doing this work. I encounter many mad people even in dustbins and at the end, God is taking glory.

“If only help will come either from government or anyone, these mad people can be gathered and prayed for and given some medicine and food that will help them normalize. They are humans like you and I. They are not animals.

“If you pray for them and no one takes care of them in terms of shelter, feeding and medicine, there is a chance that they may not become normal because it is through such process that their brains will return to normalcy. Next week Sunday, I’ll be back. I’ll tour Aba fully just for these mad people. There are many of them in Aba and I’ll come to them and God will heal them.”

Speaking to our reporter after the Prophet had gone; one of the mad persons who benefitted from the healing and who identified himself as Chibuzor Asonye, from Mbano in Okigwe Senatorial Zone of Imo State, said he was small when he was brought to the streets. He lamented that he cannot trace his way home, but can identify his father’s house if taken home to his village in Mbano.

After several hours of trying to locate people from Mbano to assist Asonye, people rather chose to hide their identities and refused to give him any assistance.

Another woman healed of insanity, who people said hardly sleeps even in the night, fell asleep instantly after her healing. She had earlier said she is a native of Item in Bende LGA of Abia State.
