Therefore, all newly admitted/Matriculating students of Imo State University Owerri for the 2020/2021 academic session who will be participating in the 28th Matriculation Ceremony of the University are by informed to ensure they have paid for their matriculation gown and have signed and confirmed their receipts at the University’s Bursary Unit as issuance of matriculation gown shall hold on Tuesday, 7th to Friday 9th of September 2021 at various faculties.
You’re advised to contact your Faculty Officer through your class representative for the collection of gown.
All faculty offices will be open from 8:00AM to 2:00PM for the collection.
Imsu Rag Day for all newly admitted students kicks off on 10th September, While Going out from the University Community You are advice To move with the Ragday/matriculation stickers stipulated by the university Authorities.

NOTE: Payment of Matriculation Gown is mandatory as the receipt must be presented during your 100 level clearance and your final year clearance before you can be finally cleared.
What next after Matriculation.
Faculty clearance Starts which will enable all Matriculated students to get there Matriculation number Through there faculty officer, Remember all stipulated fees must be paid before matriculation number will be issued out.
《》Acceptance fee, Ancillary fee or school fees, Matric gown, sports, Verification and medical certificate issued by Imsu medical Centre.
《》Other Documents needed for the faculty clearance are jamb admission letter, Imsu provisional admission slip, Imsu admission letter from the imsu Admission unit, jamb original result, birth certificate, Attainstation letter and Local government identification letter.
《》 After submitting this to the Faculty officer , a four file will be issued out to you which you will fill and return it back then A valid Matriculation Number will be issued out to you, Either through your imsu Student profile or orally which will be written down to you.
