GOVERNOR HOPE UZODINMA RECEIVES IMSUTH 12TH SET OF GRADUANDS.
1.. We received the 12th set of graduands from the Imo State University Teaching Hospital (IMSUTH)
2/Prior to the coming of our administration, the IMSUTH were through series of industrial actions and management disputes which staggered academic activities.
3/These disputes with the State government were occasioned by series of issues bordering on irregularities and mismanagement on the part former administrations of the school& government but today, we have been able to graduate a set of medical practitioners from the institution.
4/On my first visit to the institution, I assured the students and staff of our administration’s commitment towards resolving all lingering disputes and loggerheads in order to pave way for speedy graduation of our students
5/To this end, we quickened our steps by setting up a competent and vibrant management for the institution. We also embarked on the reconstruction of the access roads to the school and other facilities within.
6/I seized the opportunity to intimate the young Doctors on our plans & program towards better healthcare delivery in the state, including some partnerships we have gone into with donor agencies (local &international) which will start yielding the desired fruits in due course.
