OCDA BOSS CHAMPIONS ONE OF THE 3R MANTRA OF THE SHARED PROSPERITY GOVERNMENT “RECOVERY!!!” – MAKES INITIAL MOVE TO RECOVER FUTO STOLEN LANDS
The Federal University of Technology was greeted with the initial fresh breath of relief from the shared prosperity
government geared towards one of the 3R mantra “RECOVERY”.
As the land dispute between the Federal University of Technology Owerri and indigene gets more fierce, the Vice Chancellor of FUTO called the Imo state government to their aid, which received a swift response from the Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma ably represented by the vibrant OCDA General Manager Ikpamezie Innocent Ikechukwu.
With the aid of armed forces, OCDA Special Task Force and FUTO executives, Engr. Innocent Ikpamezie (GM OCDA) who led the operation sent a stern warning and signal to builders
and landlords who deliberately erected structures encroaching into the property of the Federal University of Technology Owerri to remove their structures within 21 days.
Engineer Innocent Ikpamezie and some FUTO Executives were able to identify all the encroachment areas using the encroachment map and keys,
The FUTO Vice Chancellor Professor Francis Chukwuemeka Eze was really impressed at the doggedness and the result of the operation and he expressed his sincere gratitude to the GM OCDA and commended the extraordinary speedy response of the Imo State Governor Hope Uzodimma in the quesy of recovery of the lost portion of the Federal University of Technology Owerri and Imo.
The operation which started about 12:00pm (covering the nooks of Ihiagwa, Umuchima and eziobodo ended at about 4:00pm.
