Hoodlums attacked a female student of the Lagos State University at Franklas Bus Stop, Iyana Oba early this morning in an attempt to snatch her telephone handset and other belongings.
A statement signed by the President of the university students’ Union Comr. Oladele Oluwatayo Olawale confirmed this.
The statement read, ” Earlier today, We received the news of a female student who was butchered by thugs while trying to cart away her phone and other belongings at Franklas this morning. We are saddened by the news but we swung into action immediately.
The lady in question is presently under intensive care at the Lagos State University Health Center and other medical measures has been put in place by the Students’ Union to ensure she is medically fit and recovers fully as soon as possible.
