Central Student Disciplinary Committee (CSDC) of the University of Ibadan (UI) has rusticated 16 students and expelled five others. The institution’s Registrar, Olubunmi Faluyi, disclosed this yesterday in a special bulletin. While the 16 rusticated students, who were found guilty of examination and gross misconducts, are to stay at home for two semesters, the expelled students, found guilty of impersonation, have lost their studentship. Faluyi said the affected students were regular degree students and those from the institution’s Distance Learning Centre.
