The Federal Government finally Okays the resumption of schools in Nigeria and inter State movement

Recall that schools have been closed nationwide since March so as to avoid the spread of the virus and unnecessary exposure of students to the Coronavirus virus.
Many advice has been given to the Federal Government with regards to schools resumption, including the recent advice of ASUU, which was against school resumption.
However, the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on Covid-19 Chairman, Boss Mustapha, has finally announced today, Monday, June 29 that President Muhammad Buhari has consented to the approval of the committee’s recommendations that students of graduating classes I.e Primary 6, JSS 3, and SSS 3 Cam resume in a bid to hasten their preparation for their final examinations.
Other classes, apart from this three (3) are to remain closed, pending the time Implementation of the Federal plans in schools, while tertiary institutions were encouraged to continue with the e-learning programme.
President Buhari has also lifted the ban on interstate movement that has been in place nationwide since the beginning of May.
The President also lifted the ever present ban on the interstate travel (So as to allow students and teachers to be able to travel to their various institutions).
The ban which has been imposed since early May, and has finally been lifted by the Federal Government. The interstate drivers have thereby been directed to only fill half of the capacity of their transport vehicles during travels.
Thus, The Federal Government finally Okays the resumption of schools in Nigeria.
