University Ranking: UNIBEN Retains Second Position

Benin – The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has retained second position in the National Universities Commission (NUC) programme accreditation ranking of Nigerian universities.

The giant stride is attributed to the smooth running of both undergraduate and post-graduate programmes in the past four years.

Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Faraday Orumwense, disclosed this at a Media briefing to herald the 44th Convocation/48th Founder’s Day lecture Ceremonies of the Institution.

“Since the inception of this administration, academic activities in the University of Benin have taken a giant leap.

“Our academic programmes, both undergraduate and post-graduate have ran smoothly, placing the University of Benin on Second position in the National Universities Commission accreditation (NUC),” he said.
