JAMB CAPS: MEANING OF ADMISSION IN PROGRESS, HOW LONG IT TAKES TO REFLECT AND NON ADMITTED HOPES.
It simply means you are yet to be given the admission officially, it later changes to “CONGRATULATIONS YOU HAVE BEEN GIVEN ADMISSION”, then you will be left to accept or reject.
If your JAMB admission status is showing “admission in progress”, it doesn’t mean that you will not been offered admission. It simply means that your admission is still on its way.
Generally, admission in progress may take about 1 to 3 weeks to change to Admitted depending on the situations behind the admission process of the institution, Well, it all depends on your school’s attitude towards admission exercise. It could just take a day, a few days, weeks, or Months before this status changes finally. Some candidates hoping to feature in the merit list may have to wait longer before the good news.
Furthermore, If you have not been offered a provisional admission at your institution of choice. There are various possibilities to that. It may be that your institution had not yet submitted your names to JAMB. Probably, your chosen institution was yet to release its admission list.
Meanwhile imsu has not yet officially released the list and also Imsu portal for Admission Status Checker has not be activated.
So If you have not gotten Admission or it has been processed please kindly keep checking 🙏, have faith God will favour you.
Nb: All aspirant are notified to Upload there O level results NECO or WAEC immediately on jamb portal.
