IMSU HEALTH SCIENCE FACULTY EMERGES WINNER OF THE VC’S INTER-FACULTY DEBATE CHAMPIONSHIP 2021
The second Vice Chancellor’s debating competition tagged “Imo Stars banter” took place at Imo State University humanities hall from 8th-10th October. This development is a brainchild of IMSU debating Union were different faculty debating groups are tested for accuracy, time management, salient points etc.
The best brains drawn across the 13 Faculties in Imo State University clashed in a powerful and exhilarating contest.
After several rounds of power tussle, Faculty of Health Sciences defeated other Faculties and took home the most coveted trophy.
Health science faculty was represented by Comr. Duruoha Stanley from Optometry department and Chinaza Favour from Medical Laboratory Science department. They were awarded the first position cash prize as the winners of the competition.
IMSU Faculty of Health Science has shown capacity in raising excellent health professionals which will continue to compete with the best among the rest.
