 REGISTRATION AND CONDUCT OF THE 2019/2020 SECOND SEMESTER GST EXAMINATIONS COMPUTER BASED TEST.

This is inform all 100 level and 200 level Students of Imo State University, That the university has directed and approved the use Computer Base Test For The registration and conduct of All General Studies ( GST) Examination.

All 100 Level and 200 Level Students of all the various Faculty are directed to visit or proceed to the GST unit and ICT Unit of the university for the registration to sit for the CBT tests, All Course Representative Should properly Guide there Coursemate.

 The examination is one of the most broadly used strategies for assessing learning and capacity of a student. 

 These and another manual method of processing results give room for errors during results compilation.

 The utilisation of Information and Communication Technology in directing examinations can enhance proficiency and decrease the delay of student’s result after examination. A Computer Based Testing System (CBT) was designed and implemented to diminish the delay of student’s examination result.

Students are expected to arrive at the venue of the examinations 30 minutes before the scheduled time.

Students are requested to conduct themselves orderly at the venue of the examinations, shun any act that is capable of misconduct and keep to the COVID-19 protocols i.e. use of nose mask, maintaining physical distance and use of hand sanitiser.

NB: The adjusted GST timetable has been sent to all Faculties on the new development, as directed by the University Authorities.
