IMSU TO RESUME ON 25TH JANUARY BUT ON WORK TO RULE.
To all undergraduate of imo state University, the resumption date for imsu has been slated on 25th January, there after exam commerces on 2nd February.
Asuu_Imsu wishes to sincerely remind you of it’s Congress Resolution of 24th December 2020, which was re_affirmed in today’s Congress meeting 21 January 2021, for clarity, The resolution was that their resumption/commencement of lectures may be premised on the quick resolution/implementation of it’s members long outstanding welfare issues.
These issues have already been articulated to Imsu Management and to the University Governing Council.
The issues are :
1. Return of payment of staff salaries to Imsu Bursary unit.
2. Non-Payment of February 2020 Staff salaries.
3. Earned Academic allowances.
4. Delayed promotion and non payment of promotion arrears.
5. Non payment of full salaries of Retired professors.
6. Funding
Etc….
