IMSU pays Courtesy Visit to Commissioner for Education

Imo State University Management paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner for Education, Prof B. T. O Ikegwuoha on 30th April, 2020.
The administrator of Imo State University Owerri, Prof Victoria Adaobi Obasi in her speech congratulated Prof B. T. O Ikegwuoha, who was formerly the top of Department (HOD) politics within the University, on his appointment because the Commissioner for Education.
Prof Victoria Adaobi Obasi described his appointment as a round peg during a round hole while thanking the Governor, His Excellency Hope Uzodinma for taking the great step within the right direction.
Further speaking, the administrator congratulated the Governor for desilting Lake Nwaebere stating that the University almost lost the world thanks to flood.
She also reiterated that the University has produced Face Masks and Sanitizers, which can soon tend to the Governor, to share bent the people.
The VC concluded by wishing the Commissioner well, God’s protection and in particular , an interesting tenure.
Prof B. T. O Ikegwuoha in his response thanked the University Community for coming and stated that the difficulty of salary is being addressed. He assured them that ultimately soon, salaries are going to be a foregone conclusion and can be paid at the 26th day of each month.
The Commissioner concluded by praying that Godhead will protect and direct all our movements.

The Principal Officers, Ag Registrar Dr J. U Osuagwu, Librarian, Dr Emeka Uchendu, Bursar, Dr O. J. E Anyanwu and Staff, Prof Martins Uchenna Nwankwo, Associate Prof Samuel Ezeanyika, PRO, Mr Ralph Njoku-obi and EA to the VC, Mr Chris Aguibe were also attending.
