Imo State University debunks rumors of the management releasing departmental cut off mark which will be use for admission. The University management are currently using the general cut off mark of 180, any change will be communicated to all prospective students.

This system is devised by JAMB to monitor Admission processes of all Schools so Aspirants who merited the Admission List don’t get deprived of it..This system has been in use since 2017..And will continue likewise this Year…

CAPS Admission is Jamb’s own way of offering Admission to Students pending when the School’s Admission List get to Jamb.

Admission in progress via caps is as a result of your institution sending merit admission to jamb for verification and submission before releasing there respective mode of admissions.

Currently caps is not available due to some institution still conducting post unified matriculation examination screening exercise.
All prospective students are notify to re-upload there 0’level results as it is prerequisite to your effective admission into IMO state university.

Nb: The deadline for re-uploading of 0’level results will be made soon by jamb. Imsu mode of admission is of two type (merit admission and supplementary list).
