After 12Years, UNIABUJA Recalls Expelled SUG President (Photos)

The University of Abuja has in a statement released on the 14th of June reinstated expelled former president of student union government after 12 years.

The former SUG President, Igwe Ude Umanta, was unjustly expelled after he  incited  a protest due to lack of functioning amenities in school. He was subsequently unable to complete his final year’s examinations.

The school after concluding investigations had called back the student to complete his 400 level exams and instructed he follow due process.

In the letter of recall, written by the school management, the school reinstated the student and asked he reported back to complete his studies.
”I have been instructed to communicate to you that the university of Abuja Governing council at its 82nd regular meeting held on Wednesday 27th, Thursday 28th and Friday 29th, March 2019, considered the report of its disciplinary committee on expelled student and after due diligence, magnanimously approved your recall to enable you to complete the outstanding 400 level second semester, and graduate accordingly.”
Meanwhile, it is expected that you will reciprocate this magnanimity of the council by subjecting yourself to the Matriculation Oath already sworn.
