How EBSU SUG President Spent N10m Given To Students By Gov. Umahi Will Shock You(Photo)
Crisis is currently rocking Ebonyi State University, EBSU over the SUG President, Comrade Ogbu Emmanuel inability to account for the 10 million naira gift given to students by Governor David Nweze Umahi.
Igbere TV gathered that Umahi during the Christmas celebration in 2018 gave 10 million naira to Ogbu to give to students as Christmas package.
According to our source, Ogbu allegedly spent the money without given the students their own share of the money.
Meanwhile, a statement obtained by Igbere TV reportedly released by Ogbu has shown how he spent the N10m.
According to Ogbu,
*4 million naira for repair of SUG Buses
*2 million naira was shared between the SUG officials
*1.5 million naira was used to appreciate undisclosed body
*2.5 million naira was used to settle cult clash.
Igbere TV reports that Ogbu despite listing what he did with the money has come under heavy criticism by the students for not doing any tangible projects with the money.
A check on Ogbu’s Facebook wall shows that the students are not with him.
According to Ogeh Austine who lambasted the SUG President over the issue said :
“You now see the reasons why youth will never rule this country..”
“Even in the next generation to come..”
“High level of incompetence, fraud,embezzlement, corruption and nepotism
Misappropriation of public fund…..”
“Now..money was given to you, as Christmas package for students.. Then you use it to visit undisclosed body….

“We go meet for circular world Bro
“See the reasons why I will not vote a youth for anything in this country…”
Meanwhile, efforts to get Ogbu to speak on the issue as at the time of filing this report proved abortive as calls and messages sent to him were not replied.
