BIAFRA: MASSOB Begins Construction Of Biafran University
In her bid to boost education in Biafran land, the Chief Ralph Uwazuruike-led Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, otherwise called Biafra Independent Movement, BIM, says it has commenced the construction of a Bianfran university.

Dropping the hint during the celebration of his one year in office as the Anambra North Zonal Leader of MASSOB-BIM, Damian Nzekwe said that the university, Dim Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu Standard University, Anaku, Ayamelum local government area, Anambra State, has over 200 plots of land at the site where it is located.

According to Nzekwe, “we conceived to build this university some years back when our Leader, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, advised us on the need to bequeath Biafrans a legacy for posterity.

“The edifice, when completed, will boost education in the land as our target is to have zero tolerance for illiteracy. It may also interest you to know that this zone also has embarked on construction of its secretariat and the building has gotten up to lintel level here in Anaku.

“The secretariat is expected to be completed this year. We hope to commission it this year and our leader, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, will do the commissioning. I thank our Leader, Ezeigbo gburugburu, as I mark one year in office, for finding me worthy to head this Anambra North zone and by the special grace of God, I will leave the zone better than I met it.

“I commend members of the zone and people of the area for the massive support given to MASSOB-BIM and I want to say that without you people, we will not have gone this far”.

He urged Biafrans not to relent in their sacrifices to realise a Biafran state, stating that the leader of the movement, Chief Uwazuruike, has brought Biafran struggle to the world.

Highlight of the celebration of the one year in office was a prayer session Nzekwe held for the repose of souls of those who died in the struggle for a Biafran state.
