Nigeria has just declared that every MTN user is now eligible to purchase the 1GB data worth N200. You remember when this offer came out, it was tagged, MTN Special Offer (MTN4me). We wrote an article concerning it, with the MTN4me, you can get 1GB data for N200 on your MTN SIM card.
The only negative thing about this is that not every MTN user was eligible for this offer, but things have changed now. MTN sent an SMS to my MTN SIM card which read;
Great news! Get access to 1GB Data for the next 120 days for N200 only…
After getting the message, I tried to purchase the data on my MTN SIM card and it worked. Asides from this 1GB data, you can also opt-in for either the 250MB or 4GB data plans worth N100 and N1000 respectively. The 1GB data is valid for 7 days, with the 250MB valid for 3 days and 4GB valid for a month.
To activate the MTN 1GB for N200, dial *131*65*2#. If you have N200 airtime on your MTN SIM card, it should work for you.
