Imo State University, Owerri (IMSU) will officially go for the Christmas break on the 21st of December, 2018 and will resume academic activities for the 2018/2019 session on the 7th of January, 2019 all things being equal and should the ASUU indefinite strike be called off before these periods.
These revelations were made by the Vice Chancellor Prof. (Mrs.) Adaobi Victoria Obasi at the December edition of the monthly Solemn Assembly held at the university auditorium.
*The VC also revealed that the school’s on-campus female hostel is now open for IMSU female students intake. She announced that there’s an ongoing plan to make a free-wifi that would be accessible to all IMSU students
