For an Instagram account to be verified with the blue tick, it might be because it is owned by a celebrity/public figure or big companies, but surprisingly, it is now available for everyone.
Verifying an Instagram with the blue tick, was like passing a camel through the eye of a needle but now it is as easy as slipping into elementary school. As you can now request for a verified badge with ease and wait for some time to get your Instagram account verified by them.
I’m sure that you already know what being verified on Instagram means, most of the time, it stands as a means to differentiate the fake from the real ones. In other words, I can say that it helps reduce fraud on Instagram.
Launch your Instagram app and go to Settings
Scroll down and tap on Request Verification
Type in your Account Name, Full Name and a photo of your ID to show if you’re an individual or a company. This ID can be your Voter’s card, National Identity card, International Passport etc.
Hit Send
After doing all that, you will be notified if your request has been accepted or rejected. This will take some time depending on some factors but be patient. If your details correspond, then you would be sure to get the verified Instagram account.
