Basic and compulsory things needed to no after ur admission in imsu

All newly admitted students are expected to make certain payments in order to be fully recognized by the school.
Although the school has not released a school fees document yet, below are a list of fees which every aspirant must pay to become a student.

Acceptance fee: This payment should be made first as it is the only payment that affirms your confirmation and acceptance of the provisional admission offered to you by the school. Paying this fee late endangers your admission. It is notable that while the fee for this session has not been set, last admitted set paid an acceptance fee of N70, 000 (Plus a bank service charge of N550).
Ancillary fee : The ancillary fee is fixed and costs just N19500 (plus a service fee of N550).

Medical fee : The medical fee is paid in two miltstones, one to the school and another to Ochiedike Medical Center (for Xray scanning). All together, the levy costs about N5550.
Departmental Dues : The departmental Dues is compulsory in every department and the cost varies from department to department. Upon admission, it is advisable to visit your HOD for the accurate cost.

Faculty Clearance Fee : The faculty clearance exercise is compulsory for all newly admitted students, so is the fee too. Just like the Departmental Dues stated above, the cost varies also from faculty to faculty. To know the actual price, meet your faculty officer.

Matriculation Levy : The Matriculation Levy usually caters for the Matriculation gown used during Matriculation ceremony. It costs just N2000.

Result Verification : This exercise is usually conducted to verify the SSCE result you submitted during Jamb registration. It would cost you N500 if you go with a valid scratch and N1500 if you don’t.
Printing Of Admission Letter : Printing of the school’s admission letter involves making a payment of N1200.

Tuition fee : This is probably the most important fee after the Acceptance Fee, because of the current FREE EDUCATION PROGRAMME being runed by the Imo State Government, indigenes (i.e people from Imo State) do not pay Tuition fees. The fee costs N150, 000 and it costs even higher for Law and Medicine students.
Payment of N30.000 to 40.000 depending for textbooks
