STRIKE COMMENCES THURSDAY 27THSEPTEMBER, 2018 .
Following the mandate of the Central Working Committee (CWC) that the Trade Union Congress (TUC) leadership should take all necessary action to effectuate the ultimatum in collaboration with other stakeholders, the organized labour met on 24/09/2018 and resolved as follows:
· Strike is hereby declared to commence from early hours of Thursday 27th of September, 2018.
· Mobilization commences immediately.
· All workers, civil society organizations and the masses are hereby put on notice to stock their houses for all necessary provisions.
Meanwhile, state Councils are to form joint state strike implementation Committee comprising of TUC, NLC and other stakeholders in the state to ensure effectiveness.
