  *NOTICE NOTICE*

         The Vice-Chancellor, Distinguished Professor Victoria  Adaobi obasi has therefore directed all students of the University to restrict their movements during the period of this vacation and adhere to the guidelines of the World Health Specifications on COVID-19 to be safe from any form of contamination.

Due to the one-month break spurred by the *COVID’19* pandemic which led to the closing of schools and higher institutions. *The IMO STATE UNIVERSITY  OWERRI* has joined the break and as a result all school activities have been put on hold to ensure that students go home and take preventive measures against the virus.

Prior to the above information  *Hostel Porters* have declared that all hostels would be *LOCKED* on *WEDNESDAY  25/03/2020*.

Hostel occupants are therefore advised to ensure that their properties are safe and properly kept before leaving the hostel.

They are also advised to return home with perishable foodstuffs to avoid spoilage or rats and cockroach invasions.
